It's a dead cert for TV that's for sure. But it's the fact that they are playing each other at all that is the intrigue. It's only a few weeks since it was revealed that the FA had arranged for top six teams to be kept apart on certain weekends, including the opening weekend. My only guess is that their response to the criticism is to remove the stipulation that was in place.
Really can't help bar what I have already posted and that was only mentioning away matches. All matches away after the three international breaks before Christmas does not help either.
i could be wrong here but i think we have 3 aways before champions league group games spurs arsenal and chelsea
Run in looks relatively straightforward you wouldn’t imagine many of those teams we’re facing in April / May to cause too much trouble bar Chelsea. December likely to be trickier than last few years.
Praying it won't. Randomly have the flights over booked for a while for that weekend but the return flight home is the Sunday morning!
Aye, home first and last game always a bonus. I haven't said it in about 10 and 1/2 months but this years definitely our year

Very simple really. It's all down to the fact the match has to be selected for television coverage, long before the Champions League group stage draw on the 30th of August and you would have to expect but not guaranteed that the two Manchester clubs would play on opposite nights therefore Liverpool and Spurs would also have to play on opposite nights meaning that either Spurs or Liverpool would have a Champions League match on Tuesday the 18th of September this is what rules out the Sunday for this fixture IMO. Even if Liverpool and Spurs were to play on the same night in the Champions League it would be to short a notice for a game to be moved at this stage of the season. The Friday night can also be ruled out because of the International Break. Have my own flights bought for this match that is how confident I am that my own logic is correct. EDIT: it was the exact same circumstances that surrounded the Liverpool v Utd. match last season being an early Saturday kick off on the 14th October.
Thanks for this , had already booked flights home the Sunday but will look into a late Saturday night flight to save hotel costs. You are a fountain of knowledge when it comes to fixtures!
