I've backed and laid every team in every game in the competition so far and got €450 in free bets from boyles for crossbars being hit, I'll easily make at least €360 from them. it cost me €140 to cover all the bets on the exchange but I'm well on top for the competition so far. Going to keep it going for the rest of the competition, at the start of the competition I thought the crossbar would be hit in about 10 games and already it has happened in 9, plenty more to come I reckon.
If you had backed €25 on every possible result in every game in the competition up to now in boyles you'd be a up around €4 and would've won €600 in free bets from crossbars being hit
I was talking to the lad behind the counter in the bookies earlier and he said when Wales went 1-0 down last night they were 50/1 to win the euros, fewmin I didn't have a fiver on that.
Do you have to go up to the counter multiple times to place multiple €25 bets? And I presume it doesn't work online as you can only bet €25 on each team once?
Yeah, go up once with 2 x €25 bets on one team to win and the draw and then go up a few mins later and back the other team to win, preferably to a different person but if not no worries, I've been doing it all month and no one has said anything. If you were to do it online they'd restrict your account fairly quickly.
And then repeat x6 to get multiple free bets? So if the crossbar is hit you'd be getting €50 in freebets for each time you backed every outcome. Backing a short favourite as well as the draw and opposition with €25 each could leave you down money if the fav won though couldn't it? Is that when you turn to the exchange to balance out the returns?
I have been backing and laying every team but if I hadn't I'd be up a couple of euro and €600 in free bets, as it stands it has cost me around €170 to cover all eventualities on the exchange but still won €600 in free bets so I'm happy with that. You would think over the course of the competition that backing all outcomes would leave you in the red but wins for teams like iceland v England, Wales v Belgium, Italy v spain, Croatia v spain, iceland v Austria, N Ireland v Ukraine and Hungary v Austria have skewed it the other way.
The absence of Ramsey and Davies are big blows for Wales. Portugal yet to win in 90, but yet to lose in 90 also. I'm going Draw, Portugal win no bet @ 1.7/1. Backing the draw and covering the stake with a bet on Portugal. Fancy the draw, but Portugal are so sneaky they could fluke a win.
Going to stick a few quid on Portugal to cover France to win, Griezmann Top Scorer and the Double. Would not put it past Ronaldo getting a hatrick in a 3-2 win
Me too. Had France @ 7/2 from the start. Could have laid them for 80% of the winnings but was very confident they'd do it. Griezmann and Gignac should have won it normal time.
