    Tower is excellent.
It's about the day of the Texas university massacre when Charles Whitman used a sniper rifle to shot people from a clock tower.

Newtown. It's about the aftermath of the Sandy Hook school shooting from a few families, EMTs and police point of view. It's fucking horrific. Good show but extremely upsetting.

Recently watched a documentary from 2012 called Side By Side. It's about the emergence of digital recording equipment and the impact it had (and continues to have) on celluloid. It's interesting because there are interviews with directors on both sides of the debate, the likes of Christopher Nolan who insists that it's an inferior product, cut with the likes of James Cameron and George Lucas who believe that film has to die.

It's presented by Keanu Reeves, of all people [IMG]

    I watched it here:

Missed this programme when BBC networked it across all regions recently but BBC1 NI are showing it next Monday night (19th June) at 20:30. I was a massive fan of Georgie Boy growing up but was not a supporter of the club he played for. Actually was not a supporter of any club at the time that Best was in his heyday.

Daniel Gordon is an excellent documentary maker. Glad I watched his latest documentary on George Best that was shown on BBC1 NI tonight. Some very emotional scenes in it. Great contributors involved.

Never will anything ever compare again to any football stars life presently or in the future with George's story, and that is a positive thing. Probably would be more exact to say in any sport and not just football.

Had UTV in the house growing up but could not understand how my Mum could not get her hands on the Cookstown sausages that I wanted.

Do remember buying these crisps back in the day.

and I still have my George Best £5 notes that were a limited edition a few years back.

Saving Bansky is good. Watched it last night . About a hour long and it's about people destroying his work and trying to sell it. Worth a watch if you are in graffiti and Art.

Has anyone else been watching Oliver Stone's 4 parter with Putin? I'm two episodes in, but it's been really good so far. You have to put Stone's uber left lens to one side, but hearing Putin speak so candidly and in detail, its fascinating stuff. Very easy to see how he is revered with cult like status in Russia.

    The Defiant ones.

Absolutely excellent for anyone who enjoys Music. It's about Doctor Dre and Jimmy Iovene(who set up
Interscope records and Beats by Dre and produced U2, Springsteen and massive other artists albums) and how they came together and their lives.

It's a 4 piece part and is only out about a week. Both are incrediable talents. Dre for his music and Jimmy for his marketing and producing music .

    9 out of 10 for me .

Watched it last week. It was very good. The artist Jimmy worked with was incredible. Dre launched some fine artists as well.
