Saw a good doc on ITV3 on Monday night, first of 6 Martina Cole Ladykillers documentaries. First was about Myra Hindley, from growing up to her eventual joining up with Ian Brady & her dying in prison. Excellent stuff, she was an evil f*****g bitch. Next one is on Monday 9p.m. Still to come, Rosemary West, Beverley Allit, Elizabeth Bathory, Mary Ann Cotton, Amelia Dyer, check it out.
Solo Just watched this very good documentary..... about an adventurer, who attempts to cross from Austrailia to New Zealand, by way of the treacheorus tasmin sea,in a kayak. He brings his own video camera to make a dairy of his attempt. with input from his wife, friends+supporters included also. I wont say much about it.... but its well worth a look, and an hour you wont waste watching it. http://www.megavideo.com/?v=AA5UND3A
If its the same one where he ended up dying with the bears...then yeah, ive seen it. he took it way to far. *EDIT* just googled him there.his name was timothy treadwell.
Grizzly Man I think it was called. Pretty good alright. Man On Wire was great. Its about a French fella who (illegally)tightrope walked between the twin towers. The story of how him and his team sneaked into the building with all their equipment and set up the rope is amazing. Seen a few docs about Rev Jim Jones aswell which were very good but I cant remember the names.
Seen this documentary a few weeks ago..its part of the storyville series on bbc. I was stunned after watching it.as it had a different concept to the usual docs;..it was a chilling account of his best friends life..and then his murder at the hands of his partner. but thats only half the story. grab-videos.com/dear-zachary-a-letter-to-a-son-about-his-father-watch-movie-online/
Anyone who liked "the deadliest catch" will probably enjoy "swords life on the line" It a similar programme
Fairly good documentary. Your one was a fcuking nut. Feel bad for saying this but your man who was killed kept reminding me of Jack Black if he had down syndrome.
Watched a few episodes of that.... its not bad at all. those swordfish are worth some money it seems.
Good docu about tourettes on BBC1 now. It features a scot lad called John whos semi famous for being intourettes docus since he was a child. Some of you might remember him from this edition of QED from the 80s: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FaeQ8pOkQo
Trophy Kids. How Do You Raise A Child Champion? This is a good documentary, focusing on dads who push their children that bit further, than most dads do......a lot further! There are two young potential golf champions.... a young boxer...and also a tennis player...with their dads as gurus, how do the kids handle the stress and pressure? In some cases..better than their parents! intresting doc. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/trophy-kids/4od#2927763
Tonight at 9 on TV3 is The Forgotten Irish. Its about the Irish who emigrated to the uk last century and how they ended up. Looks interesting.
Think that one has been on before..If im right, its a very sad documentary as it shows a old man story who is in england on his own..
Its certaintly worth the watch, as it opened my eyes up to what the times back there were like as im only a nipper and have never seen anything or experienced anything like it before..
