TBF, you're bringing a lot of this on yourself. You are incredibly negative with regards to FSG and are ready to pounce on their every move (in every thread). Yes, things are not all rosy at Liverpool, they haven't been for a long time but you seem to have it out for FSG. A lot of people can see progress being made and are patient enough see this transfer window out before judging. In your eyes it seems FSG can do no right. Noone is saying you can't have an opinion, that's just you hiding behind that line as if you are being oppressed. You are making remarks that clearly have an anti-FSG agenda behind them. You're being repeatedly called on that. Your post above (not the one I quoted) is another instance of this where, we have made a big bid for a striker - potential Suarez cover, something you were moaning about before - and you start moaning that you want a £20 million defender before you'll give FSG some credit. Talk about goal post moving.

Did I respond to your apparent confusion at being repeatedly countered on various threads? yes. Did you respond to my post in a rational, mature way? no. You resort to sarcasm & condescending remarks about how forums work. I quite like hearing your side of things to certain point (balance is important and stirs debate) but you are very anti-FSG and go a bit OTT (as in this thread). When this window closes, I may very well be on your side of the fence regarding how FSG are investing in players (I've said this many times already) but you come across quite single minded in your dislike of FSG and it's going to grate and you're going to have to defend your opinions.
The release clause is just that but only applies for other Spanish clubs. For foreign clubs it is not enforceable. The loophole around that is that the release clause is technically the fee the player himself has to pay himself – so a foreign club could give the player the money to pay himself (obviously with a contract signed confirming he will inconsideration sign for them thereafter). However I believe that can cause tax issues. I’m surprised by this bid as I thought Aspas would satisfy our ‘nuisance’ striker quota. Technically I don’t think Costa is up to much and AM didn’t think value him for a while (sending him out on constant loans). But there is little doubt he is an effective player who performs above his natural ability and is coming of the back of 2 good seasons. I think the price is too high but believe he would do a good job. I’d guess that his physicality and general attitude would help him adapt to English football quite quickly.

If this signing happens it could be viewed as a replacement for Suarez.It was the first thing i thought when i saw it on SSN.Obviously the club will deny it,they want to get somebody in before the can sell Suarez so we don't have a suituation like last time out But it could also show a statemaent of intent to Suarez that we mean business and if he stays we have a real chance of top 4.Now with the likes of Sturridge,Coutinho,Gerrard hopefully Aspas and obviously Suarez ans add Cosata to this it gives us lots of attacking options and match winners add to this Alberto,Sterling,Ibe. I know if i had the choice between Arsenal and liverpool i know where i b staying.
