Downloaded the new contact tracing app. Seems like a good idea but location services needs to be turned on for Android and a lot of people won’t want to do that.

Did it too. Anything that gets me back in Anfield/Croke Park quicker I’m all for it.

    Really think they should.

For the next 3 weeks ( at least) have to shut at 11:30 at the very latest every night.

I was in Blanchardstown yesterday, there were queue's into the car park for Nike and a couple of other stores. Looking at the situation it had me thinking we have about 4 weeks to get rid of this or we're fucked. People won't queue in the cold, it's now or never.

The weather doesn't really change until November, this thing is just going to be a game of peaks and troughs to keep the hospitals from being overrun. I wonder will we end up back in a lockdown again with the numbers we have now, I can't recall how many we were seeing a day when the original lockdown was implemented.

It seems crazy that they'd wait for the numbers to go back to a similar level as last time, before going to a more strick lock down stage and yet, I can't say that I'd look forward to more restrictions either.

Hard to know that the right solution is here. There's no doubt that there's big house parties, people jumping on planes and going abroad on holiday etc and I can't help but think that they are part of the problem.

I feel very sorry for airline staff and those that work in the hospitality sector, but this businesses are high risk so we've got to keep them under right restrictions, until we get a cure for this bloomin thing.

The local councils could do a lot more to help the pubs offer outdoor seating and maybe that way, sell a few pints.

I'm not sure what the solution is for the airlines - other than to try and give them some business shipping goods in and out of the country etc
