Starting this Friday night/Saturday morning our time with the United States playing Colombia in Santa Clara. The kick off times aren't great and not too dissimilar to USA 94.Setanta Sports 1 through Premier Sports seem to be showing all the games live.

As expected Coutinho was confirmed in the Brazil squad.

Not all games live some are on delayed showings http://www.premiersports.com/2016-copa-america-usa/2016-copa-america/

Will be interesting to see how far the USA go in this tournament. Four extra teams in it this year, this is a huge tournament being played in some massive stadiums. Media here will not cover this competition in any great way but in many ways this tournament is potentially bigger than the Euro's.

Great opportunity to see some players that we might not ever see otherwise ... or some players we might hope to see soon after the tourno is over :)

Brazil dropped points last night against Ecuador. Coutinho played the whole game out in the left on side.

    Jamaica v Venezuela
    Mexico v Uruguay tonight

Coutinho hatrick! The first is really good but the third is a thing of beauty (despite Haiti being fairly ****e).

Uruguay Out of the tourament, and Suarez wasn't a happy bunny last night. He was warming up last night even though he wasn't deemed fit to play, so had a pop at the management team.

That was some rain that hit Chicago last night causing the Columbia v Chile match too be suspended at half time for two hours. Pitch amazingly good when they did get to resume the match.

    Columbia 0-2 Chile

It's an Argentina v Chile final next Sunday night (01:00 Monday morning Irish time).

Argentina v Chile tonight at 1am should be a good game. Not a bad final.

If Argentina don't win this that Higuain miss in the early part of the 1st half will be talked about for ages.

Not sure I will stick with this to the end result 25mins, no goals.

Messi just booked, for simulation, I just wonder would the booking have happened if Messi had not also called for the sending off by waving the imaginary card.

Roja now just sent off for Argentina 10 men each.

Wow Chile won, sounds like a firecracker of a game! Two first sendings off! Messi missing his penalty in the shootout too!

Argentina really should have won more over the past 10 years with the squads they've had!

I read this post after waking up on the couch this morning, many hours of snooze time did not even make it to half time.

This will have to do me for highlights later. Is it 23 years since Argentina have won anything?

I had forgotten that Chile also beat Argentina on penalties in last years competition after the game finished 0-0 after extra time.

Just after watching this video. It is three major finals in a row in three consecutive years that Argentina have lost.
