This does not slip..
I'm open to correction, but from my recollection we've lost one game under Klopp by a scoreline that would see us knocked out here. That was the 5-0 here earlier in the season which doesn't happen if we keep 11 men on the pitch. So approach this as if the first leg didn't happen and take it from there.
I think we will approach this like our second half at Anfield. Which at first look would make most sense but if you take today's result and last Wednesday's game into consideration then going at City makes most sense. They have a seriously poor defence so we should target getting at it with pace. Unfortunately for us our likely midfield does not lend itself to this on paper but you never know!
First time this season where I believe I can predict Klopps line up
I'll try bench for craic
Please don't use them words.
I think salah will be risked.. but our bench is scary.shows how weak we are
Kompany 3 games in 6 days, sound.
Salah availability crucial for me. He is a goal machine and one goal will mean City need 5.
If he does not play, it will give City a massive boost.
Its not even about scoring its about keeping them honest at the back. When Mane was sent off Klopp took Salah off at half time, with that all our pace and any threat to City was gone.
Play out normal game on Tuesday and we will win on the night.
Jesus was like a bomb waiting to explode yesterday can easily see him getting frustrated and a red for city
Watched the United Game , they are easily got at once you have a go at their defence .
Sitback and you could be 3/4/5 down especially if Stetimg could hit a barn door.
United had 5 shots on target and scored 3.
They have a few head cases, Otamendi is always likely to get sent off. Fernandinho,Sterling,Walker are easy to wind up too. Im confident if we score city wont finish with 11 on the pitch.
Aguero's a snidey fcuker too, seen him throw his toys out of the pram a few times.
Would be hopeful that their air of invincibility (in themselves) is well and truly punctured. They were excellent in the first half against Utd, but once Utd actually decided to have a go at them, they were all over the shop. We score first and you'd imagine they would fold.
Certainly not taking anything for granted, but I'd much rather be in our position than theirs going into this game
We need to score that away goal. Will be interesting to city line up Kompany surely can't play 3 games with his fitness issues and Augero will start up top due to his experience. This game for me will define Klopp as going down as a great or good LFC manager.Hendo missing for us and with Can more an likely missing to in the middle Gini and Millie will need to play game of their lives for us.
Going to go for a score draw...
Surely we score here, when was last time we went 2games without scoring? Surely we have done enough to see this out!!
January 2017, Plymouth and Southampton.
Second half in the first test leg City looked very tired and even more so v United
If we can keep a clean sheet first half and don’t score ourselves think they will struggle with their energy levels second half. Then we will Knick our goal and watch them deflate.
Define klopp great or good manager? On this game? Think that is based on trophies and not 1 leg off a cup tie
