    Lead singer with Soundgarden and Audioslave, sang the Bond theme "You know my name" (highly underrated tune imo) and the excellent solo song "Seasons" on the Singles Soundtrack. Black Hole Sun, Rusty Cage, Spoonman, Gasoline, Cochise, The Day I tried to Live, Fell on Black Days. All great tunes. Fantastic voice.

    Had the pleasure of seeing him live many times. What an unbelievable voice. His gig when he supported aerosmith at Marley park was one of the best performances I have ever seen. RIP Chris

    Best bond song of the last 30 years.
    He had one of the best voices in the business.

    Suicide apparently.
    That is a shock. He was clean for years and no previous battles with depression afaik.
