Yes and if Everton beat City as well Saturday week which would mean we'd go 4 points clear when we hammer Utd at Anfield ;)

Challenge on the ball for their goal looks okay to me, Allison was still trying to control the ball.

It's not that black and white for the attacker, he has to go for it, if the keeper gets his hands on it a split second before you then yes its a free. But you have to go for it...
If im a manager or fan and he doesn't go for it id be fairly pissed off with him.

Great save be Allisson, and then set up for goal #3 after. Quick thinking, hallmark of great keeper.

Typical of City's luck that they play Chelsea right as their form is falling off a cliff. Same luck against Arsenal.

Or Chelsea might wake up after this setback...hard to know, but yes they're not as good as early season at the moment.

Ps Keita looked like what we had hoped we had bought last night! Unlucky not to get on the scoresheet, it's coming very soon.

All we can do is keep the pressure on City. They may crack. We just need to be close enough when it happens.

That was indeed brilliant from him, didn't swell on it but straight to looking for the best option. Sturridge looked very dangerous in the highlights reel, some moments that only he is capable of in our squad!

That's all we can do, they had free run to go and Chase the record last year, that's a lot harder if a team is breathing down your neck. Our problem is that they look massively unlikely to drop any points against the weaker teams so there's only about 10 games in the whole season when they might drop them. Stay close and see what comes of it, a blip in form and there are players there that will start to look a bit normal but at the moment teams go into games knowing they're beaten and there players look 10 feet tall.

    Great great win.

Alisson and VVD real difference makers both defending and attacking wise.

Alisson made a great save for their goal and seemed to have his hands on ball for rebound. Attacker had right to go for it. I’d be looking at reaction of other LFC players rather than Alisson.

Shaqiri and Keita brilliant. Keita really really looking positive eveytime got the ball. Rolling the ball under his foot a sign of confidence maybe.

The Burnley take on their midweek loss. It's a bit biased, no in fact it is completely biased commentary.
