Decent side at home but one we would expect to win .

    ————————Alisson

    Trent ......Fabinho.......Van.........Robertson

    .............Henderson......Wijnaldum

    .....................Keita

    ....Salah.....Firmino......Mane

Think Milner could do with a rest and Shaqiri from the bench or even to start for Keita

Unless Matip recovers in time I think it will be Fabinho at CB.

The only decision who to play only ever seems to be in midfield. Henderson and Wijnaldum were rested on Monday night so you would expect both to start and after that it is any 1 from 3. Personally I like Milner in these PL type encounters but he was below par the last 2 matches so I think it could well be Keita who gets the nod.

First goal is key here as Brighton are difficult to break down and will probably set up defensively.

We won this fixture 1-5 last season. The players had a week off to rest and if we play to our best we will win by a couple of goals

City look to be red hot again based on their performances against admittedly lower league opposition but we don't have margin for error in these games. I think this one more than most because of the loss in the last two will be magnified if we don't win but I expect we can bounce back from the last two and get a win here and put some pressure on City.

The beauty for now is that citeh can do whatever the fcuk they want as long as we do our bit. Keep increasing the gap to 7, even for a short while, the next couple of weeks. Lets see how the primadonnas deal with playing through our dust.

We've scored twice as many goals as Brighton and conceded a third. We are double their points tally. They have taken 5 points from the last 15, we have taken 12 and pushed the bestest team in the world ever on their home turf. I expect a good win here, we will have a point to prove and we will do it.

Huge game to get us back on track. People can say long way to go all they like but anything other than a win could derail us. I expect us to win, they will know the city performance was decent and was just one of those nights. They didn't stamp their defending champions authority on us. The wolves game i think we can discount relative to impacting our mentality for this game.

Like the look of that team Rocco, only change is maybe Shaq in for Keita but I would like to see Keita start this game. Much better to judge him in our first team rather than a makeshift 11. Hopefully his performances will result in him getting an extended place in the team.

As others have said just a routine win will do. It's only January and my nerves and anxiety are on overdrive!

    True
But a convincing 0-4 would be what the doctor ordered

City will be flying and that run of 3 defeats in 4 will seem like a distant memory now. While obviously any win will do here I think a hugely impressive win will be a kick in the nuts for city. Suddenly Wolves at home with a 7 point gap on a team that doesn't look like dropping points becomes a massive challenge. Rotherham or Burton it isn't.

Aye a commanding performance from Fabinho at the back and 4/5 goals spread between midfield and attack would put us back in our grove.

Centre back situation a concern for sure, but LFC should have enough.

As Brighton will sit deep I think Shaq might start with Henderson and Gini with Fabinho CB.

A 4 or 5 goal win is still just a win. A win of any sorts puts the same pressure on Citeh as any other. We should not be looking at goal difference or anything on those lines. Remy Place 2013/14.
    Please just WIN!
