Don't think I'd take many off that list. Sagna, Kaboul, Lescott possibly to improve squad depth but wouldn't be pushed either way.

Kaboul would be good back up. Long as backup striker. Nothing else really

Joe Cole is on a free. Could be worth a punt if his signing on fee was less than 10mil.

Sebastian larsson would be a good signing for someone on a free.

I'd be worried about Joes injury record and fitness problems.

I know what would happen he'd probably get sent off in his 1st game or something and be absolutely attrocious all season and then we'd loan him out or something like that.

if we were to lose a striker come he summer i.e Aspas, I don't think it would be too bad to have Kenwyne Jones as a back up...might not be suited to our style of play though

Love to see shane long as back up. He is only 26 and has shown good quality at times.

Could see Vidic ending up at Real or Barca along with Cole.

Sagna would also be a decent signing for a CL club.

Yeah you're right and l think there might be another baby on the way, might keep him awake at night. Too risky really.

l'd expect a lot of the better players to get contracts. United would be mad to let Vidic go on a freebie for example.

l'd take Lescott in a heartbeat. Good player.
Long - albeit the club have an option of another Year so a freebie doesn't apply here really.
l'd take Berbatov on a freebie, lazy as fcuk but being pragmatic serious value on a freebie. The fcuker never ran 5 yards in his life so easily has another few years in him. Definitely worth a punt on a freebie. He has 94 Premiereship goals in 226 games in the last 8 seasons. He scored 15 for Fulham in the Prem last Year. His injury record is very good as well and he's retired from International soccer as well. He'd be a good back-up option and would link up lovely the way we're playing ball now.
