Brilliant, Salah, VVD and himself are easily in top 5 of best signings of season. The Ox would be in top 20 too
Yes was thinking this myself last night. Robertson relegated with Hull now in Champs leauge final. Van Dyks in champs leauge final. Southampton could be goin down. Some turn around of careers
Congrats to Robertson, Not only did he put my concerns to rest with some very good performances this season, but he also scored his first goal for us in the last game of the season (and really gave me the two fingers, for having been concerned about us signing him ) Hopefully we'll see him continue to go from strength to strength now.
Can I stick up my hand and say that he's definitely the best LB at the club, he has been caught out a few times, either out of position or under the ball. Don't ask me to quote when and where but I'm delighted for him, he's been a huge asset for us and to me looks a "proper" (in the traditional sense) left back.
A little bit in the Indo about him and his former manager at Queens Park. https://www.independent.ie/sport/so...ertsons-rise-continues-to-amaze-36926296.html Some rise, in fairness to the lads
Best full back in the world right now, honestly the guy is incredible. Has proved he can mox it with the best in the world, not a position we need worry about for years!
Being ultra critical there. Thought Andy proved he doesn't look not out of place up against that quality. Teams don't really attack down his side much
He's not being critical he's just being a childish prat, doesn't like Robertson and thinks he has an opening here. Ignore him and hopefully he'll go away.
This is the kind of crap he's been posting about Andy this year, think our Andy must have pissed in his corn flakes!
Thought our back 4 were all very good last night But I would like to see us close players down quicker and more before they can shoot or cross the ball Not aimed just our defence but our midfield as well .
Don't no where to put this but seen as some one decided to blame Andy for the 3rd goal. From that far out you would expect the keeper to deal with it. It was some block on Ronaldo earlier. On Bales 1st Gini actually got something on the cross and was unlucky as it set the ball up for the strike. Don't like slating any player even Karius last night I think he will give himself a hard time over his mistakes
His block on Ronaldo was sensantional. As for Bale’s shot, it’s 40 odd yards out. Karius could have headed it away it was that tame.
I was thinking the same just now It's being extremely harsh to say he was at fault for the third goal. VVD is equally at fault in that case. Bale was 40 yards out and Robertson, like everybody else in the Universe, was expecting him to run with the ball and had positioned himself to cover a run to the left or right. Shoot away if you want to, lad, unless it's an absolute best-goal-ever shot, the keeper has it covered. And the keeper HAD it covered. I'd be quite happy to let teams shoot from that distance all day, every day. Maybe 1% would be scored, and that's probably exaggerating the percentages by a good amount.
