What's behind the red coverings up the back of annie lower? Boxes, brodies, another hospo venue?

Does the club own much of the land around Anfield?

I noticed last time there’s a big enough area fenced off just beside the main stand/club shop.

We were wondering if there’s plans to develop that section.

A hotel was mooted for that parcel of land about 8-10 years ago but I have heard nothing about any plans in years.

    Your original eyes were working.

New lounges behind the covered up windows.

I was in the safe standing on lower Annie Road on Saturday. It was very enjoyable to stand for the duration. It makes for a much better atmosphere throughout & allows for a bit of banter with with others standing close by.

Excellent pitch-side views in lounge, with dedicated access to seated area.

That is the most high end hospitality. There will be other lounges to the rear of the stand with no views of the pitch.

Food stand back of the kop. Hamburger advertised as £5. Got 4 four of them. Came to £30. Basically the price has gone up by 50% in last couple of weeks the girl said. That is some inflation.
Had a nephews with me and it was lashing so we just went to The Kop bar before the match. We were going to go to Taggys as there was music there but weather was brutal. Actually Kop Bar was not a bad spot with a lad playing music. Plenty of room and music and kids had a great time which was main thing.

Why would the club need to use a third party to sell this....its very strange.

They can barely organise standard tickets for us normal fans, do they really want to trust the top top high rollers with in house organisation? With the mad money people pay for that spot, you’d want ‘experts’ taking care of it.

In AU4 yesterday, great room in seats, excellent view and a pretty good atmosphere. Easy enough to get a drink and the jacks.

No escalator like the Main Stand a bit strange. A tight trek the whole way up for some of the older generation.

One thing I noticed yesterday from that vantage point was the amount of outside seats not taken up for most of the second half in the Main Stand. Whole rows nearly empty until 70 minutes.

Pretty amazing to see the amount of different nationalities in the Anfield Upper. Not sure if they are picking up the hospitality tickets however was so much different to main stand and the Kop

Where in the Main Stand were these empty rows/seats? And people only arrived in for the last 20 mins??

I'd assume the people were in the corporate boxes/lounges viewing the match and then took up their seats for the end of the game.
