"The Premier League has obtained a legal order in Ireland that requires internet services to block illegal online streams of football matches"

From a technical and also privacy aspect (GDPR) how would Internet providers here be able to enforce this?

Sounds like the same warning shots being fired as last season around the same time too.

Anyone tech-savvy help me out with this one?

I bought a Firestick around two years ago and I'm using an app called VE for streaming television and watching films/series. The films and series all play without any issues but over the last two or three weeks the live television streaming is buffering or freezing like mad.

Does this mean that the Firestrick needs to be upgraded to a newer version or is there a way of closing apps to improve performance? At £22 a year I'm not complaining but its driving me mad at the minute when I can't watch anything live and the boxing is on this weekend.

I'm in the UK by the way.

Your provider could be having problems with the live tv service at the moment @theoriginals_lfc .
I have 2 providers, one is rock solid and the other one is having lots of problems since the football started back. It'd be no harm getting another provider for back up if you can find one that's reasonably cheap.

    Optus working well for me.

Picked up the new version of the Firestick on Saturday when over. Got it delivered to an Amazon locker in Lime Street station. A bit better performance wise.
