Our midfield three is always going to be rotated depending on the opposition must be frustrating if your playing well

"Sometimes it is the idea to make more runs in behind, and sometimes you want to be more naturally offensive or more naturally defensive. That’s the reason for different line-ups." Klopp

Interesting quote from Jürgen. He sees a lot more of the players than we do (training etc), but it's always hard to predict what midfield 3 he's going to use for each game. It's often Keita instead of Jones, Milner instead of Ox etc etc.

In terms of resting Matip, I don't see any reason he should be rested. Unless he isn't first choice (then fair enough), he should be playing. We may as well make use of him while he's fit.

Personally would play Matip, he had a good rest during international break. Been excellent so far this season. Some of his breaks in opposing half have led to goals.

It’s keeping Matip fit with game management

Personally not the game to be changing 3 of back 4, when we have cup midweek and could rotate then (I know Trent is out sick)… but Jurgen sees the team every day so let’s hope he’s right

A lot of our attacking threat gone from right side - get on Milner for a yellow at 7/2

Important goal before the half time. Missed a few good chances again before we scored

Milner starting to tire quickly now, could do with changing him before Zaha catches him out for pace!
