I'd love to see Thiago play in the future against city but wouldn't be 100% sure Klopp would have started him in this game even if he had been fit. He's only played a game and a half for us so Klopp may have gone with his tried and trusted for our toughest game of the season. Hope to see Matip, wouldn't be surprised if Milner gets the nod but Keita might get in for his pressing and ball recovery. Tough decision up front too. With any other team it wouldn't be a tough decision, Jota would play but in a game like this Bobby gives us so much too.
I've been wrong a lot this season on lineups, so I might be guaranteeing Keita starts, but I don't think he does or that he should. Jones starts ahead of him imo. In a few weeks Keita will probably be back above him in the pecking order but with so little football lately,he's not at this point.
Just look at City’s game after us away to Spurs Win this and I could see Spurs putting the pressure on them so early into the season . Seriously not expecting City to score more than 1 goal on Sunday 1-3 away win
Anything to be said for dropping Bobby back into Midfield to let him continue his press , and then play Jota with the other front two.
I think he could absolutely do it but probably better off playing a midfielder in there. The more I think about it the more I think Bobby starts in his usual position with Jota coming off the bench
To be honest, surprised with that line up but only making me look forward to the game more. It will either be a master stroke or a disaster but very brave either way.
Might as well go for it. Whatever happens we are only a couple of points off the top. All to play for.
Very naive of Klopp, could have still gone for it without being kamikaze. I can see it having more potential to go horribly wrong than right. Milner starting for either Jota or Bobby for me. Could be another heavy loss.
I'm a bit the sane but there's a part of me thinking that Bobby will be playing quite deep and working harder than anyone so maybe it will work out. Stroke of genius or massive mistake, only the result will decide the truth.
Not pleased that Klopp has started the 4 at all. I love Bobby as much as anyone but he should be on the bench. It should be the front three that we went with against Atlanta and Hendo,Gini and either Milner or Naby in the middle. Hugely concerned now for another heavy defeat against them but really hope I'm wrong.
