If it goes to VAR thiago prob gets sent off. Whoever was on var has had the single worst performance I've ever seen from an official and should be fired. On a side note some great performances especially thiago.
Thought we deserved the win there but you don't always get what you deserve in football. How in the name of jaysus did Allan take until the 60th minute to get a yellow. Oliver has been the best ref in PL but think himself and his officials had a bit of an off day. VAR not giving Prickford a red is right up there with some of its worse decisions. He went on to keep them in it after that. Anyway they still wait to beat us. Salah took his goal really well, Tiago was very good and Jota looked good again when he came on.
Freaked but despite massive disappointment after celebrating that goal like a madman there was plenty of positivity to take from that and some crucial improvements needed ie defending, let’s move on now, two home premier leagues games to win and some tasty European football over the next few weeks.
ABSOLUTELY raging with that game...fcuking raging....what disgraceful officiating throughout...why didnt Oliver look at the pickford red card tackle on the TV?!?? who was left on the field to make 2 vital saves while our top defender has to leave the field & they primarily score cause he's not there! And what, HOW was manes goal offside??????!!!!!!????? I'm just fcuking speechless... Aside from that a decent performance where we deserved 3points, thiago was just class throughout & the pass to mane for a fcuking legitimate goal, would not have been made by any other of our players....
With VAR, it’s great when it goes for you and terrible when it goes against you. I’d gladly see the back of it. Terrible for the future of the game. On the match, I thought VVD set the tone early with a couple of challenges but the Pickford one is GBH. Any other player on the pitch regardless of the ball being dead, it’s a red. As for the offside, was sure looking at the pictures it would be given. Much preferred the old rule where the attacker gets the benefit.

Thiago will rightly get a lot of credit for some eye catching moments of play, but for me Hendo was the stand out midfielder today.
