Greenwood is an exception player but neither himself(12) nor Pulisic(19) have started enough games this to be considered for a season award. The award is a bit of a joke. Adama Traore, Joe Gomez, James Maddison have all had better seasons I'm sure there are others too.
I always remembered this award being for breakthrough players like Greenwood. Sterling won it last year, he's around a good 7 years. Trent should be in contention for the big boys award.
I throw milner in at right back. Trent is special but his positioning fitness look a mess. Almost all goals are coming down his side.
I can't believe the amount of negative comments about Trent. He is one of the best RBs in the world and makes a huge contribution to the team's success.

People being a little over protective here. There's nothing wrong with pointing out defensively he hasn't been up to scratch. 13 goals in 5 pl games conceded. Poor v Leeds. Shockin v villa and poor for the Calvert goal. Could easily make the exact same comment on Joe's thread and controversially, Virgils.
Let me rephrase almost all is an exaggeration but certainly a large proportion. As i've said he's the best full back in world football but he's out of form.
