Gone with the wind is back on HBO with a disclaimer included that it denies the evils of slavery. Hopefully that's the end of the chicken licken syndrome on this one.

 

"Denies" - that is a weird way to word it, wrong choice of word entirely in my opinion. You'd think after all the hoohaa they'd get the wording sorted out better than that.

Anyone ever had any dealing with Sports Direct?

Bought runners and the courier delivered them without a signature & left them outside on the porch but they have obviously been stolen.

Sports Direct are saying they’ve been delivered etc

 

Did you pay through PayPal as if you did you could dispute it through them.

 

Amount of delivery drivers out dropping packages , thought they had to knock and at least get an answer??

 

I paid using my Revolut card. It’s been going on nearly a month now.

I’m going around in circle with them. It’s very frustrating.

There isn’t even a number to speak to a human

 

Ian I'm not very familiar with Revolut but anything paid for by card is typically possible for you to cancel if the supplier has not fulfilled their side of the deal. It's available with most every bank and it's called a charge back, go to Revolut or Visa or whomever issued your card and reject the payment. There'll be paperwork etc. but worth it on principle alone

 

You can dispute a payment and ask for a charge back on Revolut.

I have disputed the charge so hopefully that works.

 

Can I add that Mike Ashley is a despicable prick and you should try and avoid using any of his business's unless absolutely necessary.

On a wider point I also think we should try and buy as local as we can, if it costs €1 more to use the local pharmacy or butcher then that's worth paying to still have those services around in 12 months time.

I think it was an actual refund by SD because they offered me a resend or a refund. Glad it is sorted. Very annoying.

Have had an awful time with deliveries the last few weeks.

Seems a bit weird the way his statues are being vandalised so much.

When the non food pubs open will you have to make a booking etc and will there be a time limit? Hoping to do something for the Chelsea game.

 

Thought it was the 20th though with all the shite going on about how some of the "food serving " pubs have flouted this I reckon there might be a delay
