How bad do we look at defending corners tonight. No protection for Allison at times surrounded by 3 West Ham players. He was so focused on moving the West Ham player for their goal that he missed the save. Some great movement from us but seems we need to sometimes have a pop instead of walking it in at times.
We have kind of stopped playing here, strolling around the little bit with no real intensity in our play. Need to get out of this rut sharpish here.
Very lethargic display against a side in the relegation zone, atmosphere really flat as well, you wouldn’t think we were 5 wins from the title so far tonight.
Ox has been brilliant since he came on Crowd really got going when we went 2-1 down. No harm to let everybody know no game is a certainty
Maybe just myself but always hate to see third centre half brought on for last few minutes and the expense of a attacking player
Done enough, maybe the flatness from the players is a slight hangover from Atletico defeat but no excuse for the atmosphere in the crowd tonight, that was the worst I seen Anfield all season and us just a few wins from our first title in 30 years. Maybe the fans are just so used to winning this season and they are just going to the stadium expecting to win but this is not a normal season and this sustained level of points dominance won’t last forever.
Gomez looked out of sorts tonight at times , wasn’t the only one but like plenty of times this season just did enough
Your always confident of a win even when we go behind but that got the auld heart pumping fast for a minute. Hopefully that's the cob webs blown off now. Few out there not at there brilliant best
Defence was terrible tonight. Keita looked very Rusty. Ox changed the game. There keeper will want to forget this game for long while. 4 games left to win.
