City's first appeal against their FFP investigation by UEFA has failed so UEFA are now free to proceed with their investigation into them.
Pep saying Ageuro out for a few weks and will miss the Manchester derby. I'll believe it when I see it.
Yeah, City have made a habit this season of ruling players out, only for them to miraculously regain fitness the night before a game
Morelos scored his 25th goal yesterday with Rangers now only 1 goal behind in the table. Next old firm game should be some watch. I know it's only Scotland but delighted Stevie is doing well, especially in Europe.
Both clubs have done really well in Europe this season. Celtic topping their group with Lazio in it, and Rangers only needing a point to go through in a tough group too.
Other than the fact it would piss off a couple of twats I know, which would be nice, I couldn't give a monkeys.
I would think so. No real time myself for Scottish football but can't abide Rangers and their bigotted philosophy
would've been non LFC at the time, neil Warnock was on GOS this morning and he said he had a chance to sign VVD for £5 million from celtic when he was palace manager
Another Redknapp and Wenger, could've signed 100 of top players. We ever here about the 100's of shit players they missed out on signing over the years.
I don't know why some managers mention the top players they could've got, as if it's a badge of honour or something, when it's the exact opposite. "Yeah, I had the chance to sign Messi before he was famous, but we went for a really hot prospect at the time, Brian Shuttleworth from Farnsdale United, and beat a lot of big clubs to his signature. It's worked out well as Brian is now assistant manager at the local Odeon so he sorts me out with free tickets to weekday matinees."
Are there any major Saudi owned clubs? It's just looking like they're really going hard down the Qatari and UAE route of starting to whitewash their reputation with high profile sports! Rory and Tiger have both turned down their advances, seemingly $2.5m each just to play but both have made questionable decisions in the past on other issues so I'm not sure it's entirely a morality stance.
McElroy's statement looks to me like he thinks the tournament is shit rather than any deep held beliefs.
