I think they can appeal it.
I have only seen the tackle once mind.
I thought the red was given on the basis of what happened on Gomes.
Could be seen as a freak accident.

Like Firmino's yesterday, a statement was out before the kettle had boiled justifying the red. Not a lot of point in appealing something when their minds are made up even though the whole world can see it's a yellow card.

On another note I spent nearly 2 hours last week on a course to understand hand ball. Can you believe in 2 hours they never included the part the premier league have in their latest statement about Alli's non handball.

Non-life threatening injuries. Do they still stab them below the waist to avoid it being a more serious offence or did they close that loophole?

Couple of mates out there. They stayed off the beaten track and got to stadium early. A lot of gangs on scooters near the ground when they were getting taxi out.

Ah its great isn't it. Every time he gets close to his position being untenable he goes and beats someone. Couldn't plan it better

Loving every minute of it. It’s all part of Oles master plan, buys himself another week or two.

What's even better is they are in the last 32, some amount of Extra games the further they go. Just hope they fall in the semi's.

I think they (quite rightly, even this early in the season) see this as their best chance of getting champions league next season. Watch them prioritize this competition as the season goes on and then crash and burn :D

They prioritised this from day one I'd imagine. Easily their best chance, that is until the big boys get knocked out of CL and join them in EL. At least they can claim that prioritising the EL is they reason they finished so low down in league :)
