Great win for Inter last night in the Derby, they really are the team to beat at the moment. Juve struggling at the moment, scraping a win against Verona who hit the woodwork around 3 times, twice from a peno. Napoli are playing well. Season is shaping up well.
Game was stopped today between Fiorentina v Atlanta for racist chanting. Announcement made and that’s it. It’s becoming a weekly occuarance. Saying that it’s not just Italy, happened in the Hartlepool game yesterday too. Sensi again good for Inter.
It's Italy every week and it's being denied and defended by certain sections on a weekly basis! It's not Italian football that has a problem, it's Italy
Roma beaten by Atlanta the other day. Great result for Atlanta . They are 3rd in the league now. Chris Smalling made his debut for Roma too. Juve haven’t been great so far the past couple of games. Went behind in both games against promoted teams in Verona and Brescia but came back to win. Inter still top with 6 points.
Torino 2 - 1 up against Milan and Pepe Reina sent off while not on the pitch. Anyone know why Milan are wearing there european cup badges with 7 on the sleeve in a serie A game
Sensi on form again for Inter today. Scored a absolute belter and then set up Sanchez to score . Sanchez sent off for Inter for arguing with the ref and then diving in the second half . But Inter went on to win. Atlanta 4-0 up at half time. Good side they are .
Sensi scored today I think. Anyway next week's Juve Inter Derby of Italy could be a bit special with Inter going so well and Juventus struggling. Think the season has been good so far with Atalanta continuing their form from last year. Pity Sasuola having to sell so many players they couldn't build on last season.
In the old Serie A would never have been credited to Sensi but not anymore. Goal was credited to Sensi. Anyway not overly bothered if it Sanchez or Sensi, just felt Sensi played very well and probably deserved it. Either way Inter best side in Serie A at the moment but hopefully Juventus end their run next week.
Juventus are 2nd having dropped only 2 points , wow if thats them struggling cant wait to see what happens if they go top
Watched all their games and they are struggling by their standards. They haven't fully connected with Sarri so still building an identity under him and are very shaky at the back.
I think the loss of Chellini for Juve is massive. Don’t think it can be understated. But also I don’t think Sarri knows his best team at the moment. I’ve a feeling he is been “told” to player certain players or include them, such as Arabist, Ramsey etc. Super Mario scores his first goal this morning for Brescia on his second game against Napoli but Napoli still won 2-1. My team in Serie A Milan (have always supported Milan since Ive been a kid) are playing shocking at the moment . Lost again 3-1 tonight , but Giampaolo doesn’t seem to want to play any of the new signings he has made this summer. Can’t see him lasting too long at all. Inter still top after 6 games and have only conceded 2 goals.. Conte affect is starting to take shape.
Milan finally get a win last night . Pepe Reina had some game. At fault for their goals and then saved a 93rd minute penalty. Big game tonight with Inter v Juve. Hoping for a good game.
Normality has resumed in Serie A already. Juve beat Inter last night and are a point ahead of them at the moment. Napoli dropping points against Torino didn’t help matters either. Keep a eye on Atlanta this season. They are improving every season and a great team to watch.
Milan are going replace Marco Giampaolo with Luciano Spalletti. Maldini wasn’t consulted about it. Can’t imagine him been too happy.
That was a very enjoyable Derby D'Italia last night. Dybala's goal was a cracker and if Ronaldo's hadn't been ruled out (correctly) for Dybala offside it would have been great as the move for it was excellent. Higuain scored a good goal at the end and Lautaro was a threat for Inter throughout. There was a nice bit of niggle in it to.
Have a feeling Martinez is going to have a big season for Inter. He has been good all this season for them.
