Took advice from Superfan and one or two others here and got Real Debrid ... excellent on Titanium TV (not quite as good on TeaTV, but that's not as good an app) !

I bought a 12 month IPTV subscription 6 months ago and although it has worked perfectly for me, the actual box, a used one which a friend gave to me (MAG 250) has died. I haven't been able to get hold of the supplier all weekend to ask, so hopefully someone here could answer...if I buy a newer model of box will the same line (I have the details written down) still work or are they box specific?

The line will work on the new box but only if you give your provider the Mac number of your new box, but if you can't get hold of your provider that will be a problem. You'll also have to go in to the settings on your new box and put in your provider's portal url. Once you do those 2 things you should be fine.
Do you still have the box/packaging from your mag 250?
If so you could buy a fire stick and clone the Mac number (it should be written on the packaging) and you wouldn't have to contact your provider, provided you know the portal url.
    Hope that makes sense?

I will get him sometime this week but I do have everything else you mentioned AND a Firestick but didn't realise it would work on it. Great news if I can get it sorted without having to buy a new box! Thanks.

decided to dust off my old satellite receiver and did a bit of jiggery pokery seeing as the iptv is gone kaput, have sky sports germany up and running in the house, they have the rights to the PL for the next 3 seasons. they've all the games this weekend that are on SS and BT in the UK.
german commentary but sure I can live with that, or you can knock it off and just listen to the stadium noise.

A lot of IPTV services seem to be coming back online. Watched the Liverpool and Spurs games on them today

Willie was there much to do to get the German Sky? Interesting to have a back up.

I believe it all depends on what system they were running on, my guy is just back online with the UK channels now but said it was a mountain of work, basically starting from scratch and if the other providers get the same treatment as the last ones they won't be going again.

IPTV won't die out ever but I do feel it's gotten way too mainstream now and the sports providers are losing tonnes of money on account of it!

Sorry I've just re-read that and it's not quite clear, my provider was saying this is the last time they'll be moving, if the new one they've moved to goes down they're shutting up shop.

I'd say it's more a sob story tbh.
There making far too much money for it to be not worth it.
    Unless they've already made enough

I've a M8S android box and I can't get STB EMU Pro working on it since the raid. Keep getting prompted for an activation code.

Tempted to move to an Amazon Firestick. What do people reckon?

if you're using stb emu then you're probably familiar with portal url and mac address?
the other day i was being asked for an account ID and account token when i opened the app, hadn't a clue what they were so i got in touch with my provider and he asked me for my mac address and i had to slightly change the portal url. sent him my mac address and he added me to his server and i'm back up and running again.
    maybe try that?

Box just died yesterday so I'm going to get the Fire Stick. Any real benefit in getting the 4K version?

i have all 3 types of firestick at home and find the new 4k ones pick up the wifi signal better than the others, the alexa ones are good too.
