Still some time for european clubs to do business so anything could still happen, id be in favour of hanging on to him especially when you see the scenario around the keepers at the minute.

Yes, I am not a lovren fan, but it is beginning to look like this could be a season where we are jinxed by injuries, so if he is not going to be replaced, I would prefer we didn't sell him.

The squad is stronger with him in it so I can't say I'm disappointed it didn't work out and as a little bonus it will annoy a lot of the right people:)

I think we'll have a better season if his game time is limited. We've three better centre backs than him. Having said that I'd far rather see him playing than Fabinho or one of the young lads so I'll be happy if he stays especially with Matip and Gomez being injury prone

I am honestly of the belief that playing alongside Virgil he could be our second best centre half. When he's properly tuned in he can be very good.
I'd hate to see him leave.

One of his huge issues is,6 games is the max he play together as normally gets an. injury on 7th game. I mind pearse saying this crazy stat last year. I'll try to dig it out.

Lovren is very partial to a little 2 to 3 week break. Problem is so is Matip although not of late to be fair to him and Gomez' injuries have all been serious but you'd never be surprised to hear any of them are out for an expected 2-3 weeks.

I still think we will need them all and if Lovren sticks around he'll get plenty of minutes.

Dejan Lovren speaking to Sportske Novosti.

"I feel relief the transfer window is closed. I got tired of reading and listening every day about me leaving or staying in Liverpool. Everyone wrote 'Dejan is here, Dejan is there', and knew nothing! It annoyed me."

Lovren: "Yes, I did consider moving, I knew I gave my best for Liverpool, won CL and I am not kind of player that likes to be benched and earn money. Some people around me advised me "What do you care, you are in big club, shut up take the money" But I am not happy on the bench."

Lovren: "I feel very happy because all the time I felt LFC was by me, I respect that a lot. Klopp told me "Listen, buddy, you are top class player, we will not let you go on loan. We need you". I wanted to leave, it didn't happen, I was told #LFC needs me and I accepted that."

Jesus lads I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone here the way he is being praised. Another shitshow from him the other night for Croatia against the mighty Azerbaijan. He let a player (plays for a mid table Azerbaijan team) run by him 8 yards from goal to score the equaliser. Easily preventable for a top CB and ended up costing his country 2 points. I'm all for supporting our players but this blind "he's one of us therefore he's great" attitude doesn't do us any favours. Nothing against him personally but he's not good enough for a team of Liverpool's size and for £100k a week we could do a lot better.

Why do you think that? He didn't buy him. He bought Van Dijk because Lovren wasn't good enough. He'd have bought him sooner if he could. He plays a young centre back and a free transfer ahead of him. And was willing to let him go on loan this season.

He bought Van Dijk because he's brilliant,he wasn't willing to let Lovren go on loan either but even if he was theres more than enough evidence that Klopp rates Lovren as a player and you don't. Obviously we dont have to agree with Klopp on everything and not rating Lovren is not a controversial opinion, but I think I'm on safe ground when I say Klopp disagrees with you on this one.

I could be wrong but cant recall a game in red since the car crash in wembley v spurs that Dejan had a ''Lovren''

I think we've the best 4th choice CB in the league
