    Hi all,

After travelling on well over 170 flights over the years, for the 1st time ever, I have left my samsung phone in the pouch in front of me on the EI183 10PM flight from Heathrow last night. the plane was an airbus a320. I was sitting in seat 10c. I got home at half 1 last night. I got on to aer lingus then and they directed me to website wereturnit. I have filled this out. I rang aer lingus back this morning and they said it is too early to know and that their systems will not be updated until later. I am up the walls here. is there anyone on here that knows someone that works in aer lingus or the ground crew n Dublin airport. I just need awareness to be sent to employees of aer lingus to check asap. I just want to know that they physically have it. I can rest easy then as I don't want to lose everything that is on my phone. Thanks in advance with any help that anyone can give me. Regards, Mick W

Did you get it back? Brother left his wallet in the pocket in front of his seat on Friday and he didn't get it back, highly likely cleaning staff who do a run through between landing and next flight taking off....

I know it's probably not great advice with the amount of information people have on their phone these days, but I find a fair few phones in work and if it's not pinlocked I'll always get it back to the owner. If it is pinlocked I can't do anything but send it to lost and found and after that its pot luck.

My phone is pinlocked, but I have recently discovered that I can set two contact numbers on the emergency screen that is accessible without unlocking the screen. It gives a name and number, who are both contactable through a phone call from my phone without unlocking the screen. Big help to anyone of good nature who finds it lost.

I also save all my pictures through Google photos, so I will able to find them on a different device if this phone disappears. I'm not sure about contacts, if I don't have my SIM in an alternative phone.

Edit: I hope you get it back @arklowred . This thread got me thinking about losing my own.
