Is there defo rail direct from Gatwick. I'm looking to pick up a 24 hr travel card and according to Google maps it's Thameslink to london bridge or Victoria and jubilee from there
Another route for Sunday is to stay on the train at London Bridge and get off at Farringdon. It's a very easy transit point for the Metropolitan Line to Wembley Park.
I have a family room in premier inn wembley booked for saturday ans sunday night for around the 100 mark if anyone needs? I will be cancelling it tommorrow
I see Wembley central station is closed Sunday meaning more than likely long delays with ques getting the tube post match, my flight back is 8.20 from Gatwick ,thinking now I might have to leave before the full time whistle
I am on the 8.10 Aer Lingus from Gatwick. Have Gatwick Express Train booked but will need to get to London Victoria after the game for train.
Got the return journey for £10 a few weeks back. Checked a few mins ago it was £20.20 so fair play with what you told me !!
Just waiting to board Aer Lingus 8.10pm LGW. Made it handy after the game watching penalties & getting out of stadium no issue. London Transport & Gatwick Express didn’t let me down.
He should be entitled to compensation: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/c...nsation/if-your-flights-delayed-or-cancelled/
Found London very easy to get around, tapped my debit card and only came about 25€ for the day which wasn’t bad considering I had to get the train to and from Gatwick
Forgot how rough the day trips are from Galway but yesterday was a nice reminder, London was very easy to get around and the line for the tube back into the city after the game moved surprisingly quickly, I really should have been practicing over the summer for running through the airport to catch a bus
Anyone see the video doing the rounds of city fans attacking Pool fans on the tube? Hope nobody was caught up in it. Was there any other trouble?
