Also a loyalty system always tends to turn into a closed shop when you only have a certain amount of seats. The solution Bigger stadium Better online ticketing system
f Fair point Liamo, but simplification has to deliver efficiency here. One login, who no second screen for Eligable to buy on the day only would surely be a fairer scenario (granted there would be the odd outlier, but tough) Ultimately, unless the club adopts a fingerprint / passport scan entry system, supply will end up in the hands of touts and touts by package deal names. Unfortunately, these are the guys clogging the multiple logins, bots and simply passing on the cards.
I would question the system first. Is it really a loyalty system or not rather a credit hunting system (I know this has been discussed here often already)? I guess the club considers a lot of supporters „13+ loyal“ despite these supporters only attend 5 games or so in person. Such a supporter should not have better chances in the sale than someone who is on 7 credits and attended all these games. Also, I think it‘s interesting that a membercard basically turns into a season ticket once it‘s on 13 credits (as a ticket for each game is guaranteed at this point). As a consequence, the number of tickets remaining for the 4+ and the free for all games decreases from year to year I assume.
Problem I have Liam is that this sales have been a disaster for the last four years. It’s got slightly better as there has not been major crashes but people having to wait around for 3 hours is a joke. Apart from the blog and the queuing page, the only thing technically that seems to have been done is for the third party to bolster security to stop hackers. I am sure there have been bug fixes in the background. On the pre login page, good point on the friends and family, however it still beggars believe that a club of Liverpool’s size ticketing system can’t seem to handle more than 1000 people at a time trying to get tickets. That’s going by the numbers on the blog. Also yesterday for a long period it appeared that only two blocks in AL were available for Wolves. I waited a while for more to come up but got worried I’d get kicked out or expired so went with them. Once I got back in later there was blocks all over the place. Do you know if the current contract with this provider ends soon or is it a long term thing?
