Reading a book at the minute about Bobby and Jack Charlton by Leo McKinstry. Have to say it's very good. Some story to tell between Wor Jackie and our kid!
jaysus, I know they say they love their club but the fans need to get their sh1t together and boycott the club till Ashley is gone, it might hurt the team in the short term but it would be worth it in the end.
Koscielny wont travel on Arsenals pre season tour. Says because he's been loyal to them for 9 years they should let him leave for free. Is it my imagination or is the world getting dumber and dumber?
Terribly nice bloke Peter Crouch retired today. People have always said hes hilarious and it must be through as I've just seen his 11 all time teammates and Glen Johnson is in there at right back!
The football agent heralding in a new era for Irish players aiming to plot a route into the English game https://www.independent.ie/sport/so...t-a-route-into-the-english-game-38311076.html I knew Lee when we were younger and while I say he was the last fella in the dressing room you'd of ever thought would become an agent,I'm not exaggerating one bit,it went far beyond shy. Not a bad bone in his body though and I hope it works out for him.
Bayern bid for and unsettle Hudson Odi, he duly ruptures his Achilles. They do the same to Sane and he does his ACL. Stay the fuck away from our lads please.
I was surprised there wasn't more made of that injury on Sunday,it was pretty obvious what he'd done. Then again Glenn Hoddle was commentating and thought he'd injured another body part altogether.
Strange from Hoddle that. Despite numerous replays and the player clearly holding his knee he was insistent it was his ankle. He done the same on the tackle on Origi that led to Sterling going clear through, 3 or 4 replays showing he went through him and yet he continues on the path of him winning the ball. Just on that, if City score there does VAR intervene or is it too far back?
Whats going on with Ozil and Kolasinac at Arsenal? Withdrawn from the squad due to ongoing security concerns. One of them burgled last week, then confronted in front of Kolasinac's house by two guys on a motorbike who then chased the car Ozil was driving to a restaurant. Two guys charged with public order offences from some of the events. "Ferhat Ercan, of Highgate, and Salaman Ekinci, of Tottenham, have been charged under section 4a of the Public Order Act and will appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court on September 6." (Sky News). Some of the papers are reporting that the two have inadvertently gotten embroiled in some sort of London gang/turf war.
What a shitty comment out of Neville. Can't see that doing much to endear himself to the united fans. Great to see them in a big mess, long may it last....
