Went to Parnell Pk on Saturday evening. What a cracking game of hurling and atmosphere to boot.

Delighted for the proper die hard hurling supporters in Dublin who put a lot the game.

Very disappointing result last night against Armagh. Time for fresh ideas. Great few years under Malachy O’Rourke, something not right this year though.

Hope Meath give Dublin something to think about today. 12 point spread

The weather could help that 12 point spread today. Yellow weather warning for rain this afternoon.

Dubs to get job done by 7pts.

As much as id love to beat meath well beating teams well in leinster every year does you no favours in the long run, league games have been better to watch than early championship rounds for a good couple of years now yet gaa charge nearly €20 more a head dont understand why they dont make it cheaper and try get a decent crowd in be interesting to see if 50k reported is the truth i cant see it.

Another season over for Leitrim GAA, Pretty good overall between gaining promotion in Division 3 and our hurlers winning the Lory Meagher yesterday i think is a great achievement, Yesterdays loss to Clare in the Qualifiers shows us the work we need to do to have any chance of putting in a respectable display in D3 next year but looking forward to it.

In fairness I'm bringing in 60 kids in @ €5 a head. You can't beat that for value. You also get 6 free adults tickets.

Thats good especially to get teams of kids and that into the ground, i paid 25 for my hill ticket but seen the 40 quid for a stand ticket today thats a big ask from people in a half empty stadium.

Sure the Hill is far better atmosphere than the stand.

Donegal looking good against Cavani - kicking good scores from distance.

Sligo going to become a hurling county - great win in the Nicky Rackard cup yesterday, with a few of our clubman starring

Donegal v Cavan is like two different teams playing.

It seems to be the same case in Dublin v Meath. Two different teams again. ;)

Good win for us at the weekend but the toughest draw this morning we could of got.
Had been saying to my ol fella I wanted a crack at Mayo at home just as a test but Mayo away i dont give us much hope but sure it'll show us where we stand.
Super 8s would be great and all but we arent at that standard yet anyway (2/3 teams who make it this year won't be either but just luck of the draw).

Only 2 of our last 15 championship games have been at home (bearing in mind we havent been getting too far to get to the neutral grounds stage) draws havent been too kind to us.
