Yeah, thought he was unfortunate to be replaced but it was the obvious thing at that point. With the games we have left I'd imagine that's the midfield Klopp will go with. Very unlucky on Wijnaldum after the season he's had but that's football.
Looking at the likely opponents we'd be facing in that and the semi final,I'd say Wijnaldum has a great chance of starting most if not all of whatever games we have left to play in that competition so I'd say no.
I dont think so,Chelsea aren't as good as the teams I think we'll have to beat to win the CL and had lost every away game against a top 9 side this season(I think that's correct but their record is horrible in those games) so I reckon Klopp had an idea they'd play cautiously and Keita would be another option to try and break them down. Hopefully we find out the answer to your question Bob,a CL final would be nice.
Keita starting instead of Gini shows how strong the squad is. Doesn't prove either is better than the other, but Keita had a great game today. I've been telling people since before Christmas that he was better than the criticism people were giving him!
He's exactly what we need, a midfielder who can glide past players, pick passes and score goals. Luckily he's starting to hit form. Should be great for us next year and hopefully in the last 8 games of this.
Klopp press conference this morning - Confirms Naby has a high grade abductor tear. Out for 2months, will miss the African nations cup
Looks like Guinea are going to call Keita up and play him despite the injury their manager has gone a rant saying that the abductor injury is only a 2/3 weeks injury and Klopp should shut his mouth about their player as he belongs to Guinea first before Liverpool.
