Tits and Dragons was the way I used to describe this, now it's Tits, Willies and Dragons ... guess they must be trying to keep all categories of viewers watching. Spoiler I reckon that Wildling fella will have the leg up over Brienne in the next couple of episodes
It bloomin' better be, we've been waiting long enough for it ! Must say, Sky have been doing my head in with the re-runs, way OTT. They could have easily put the entire series to date up on box sets for anyone who wanted it, without repeating it 68 times on Sky Atlantic over the last year.
Disappointed with the opening episode tbh.... I know they need to start setting the scene for whats to come, but given we've all been left waiting so long they could have broadcast a double episode to help give us all a decent fix and step up the pace a little in the process. {I'm purposely not discussing details to avoid any spoilers for others here btw }
The opening scene was very good but yeah agree it was more a catch up to see who is where so hopefully it'll ramp back up next week.
Seasons 1 to 6 yeah I didnt know you meant the new one also. Similar to Billions season 1 last year and now Riviera it would have been great it they just dropped all 7 of this seasons episodes for download
Yup - the Netflix way ... I think Sky are slowly accepting that they need to do that with some shows, but stuff like Game of Thrones probably brings in too much revenue in tv adverts for them to want to let us see the entire series without being blasted with stupid adverts along the way. I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't for the fact that we pay for Sky, it's not like it's a free channel along the lines of TV3 etc.
The first episode was alright. The opening scene was very good and the hounds storyline was good. The scene with ed sheeran was pointless and dialogue was horrendous, I don't care that he was in it but they could of made it a bit more interesting. And it was another episode where the ending involved the dragon queen and that fecking music playing. I think that's at least 5 or 6 episodes that ended like that now.
I've read that the copy doing the rounds is not great, but I gather the episode in question is a good one... think I'll sit tight for the broadcast late Sunday night, but thanks for the heads up all the same.
