Lyon, Crystal Palace, Leicester & Newcastle have all beaten Man City this season. None of whom would exactly be considered great sides. There is no reason why City can't even at least draw one of their remaining matches especially given their gruelling schedule. If we win all of our remaining games yet don't win the League then City will have deserved it but I'd be surprised if they do manage that feat.
Let's hope you're right mate, I just don't see them slipping up so close to the end, they're better than every team they've left to play and they know how perilous it could be for them to drop any points at this stage with us so close.
Was funny listening to 606 on 5live last night. This City supporters command of simple maths was not to good.
Smashing kit. I had the original upon which this is based when I was 12. Adult sizes go for £200stg now!!! An EPL champions badge and a no 6 would look lovely on it
Barca are some awful gougers on the away ticket prices, €130 is being mooted for us and the club have reciproceted by charging Barca fans the same while using the difference to subsidise Liverpool fans going over. I think Utd did something similar for their away tie.
All away tickets are priced at €119, which is in line with FC Barcelona’s pricing structure for the knockout stages of this season’s Champions League. As a result, LFC will charge Barcelona supporters a reciprocal ticket price of €119 in the return leg at Anfield on Tuesday May 7. The additional revenue from this higher ticket pricing will be used to subsidise Liverpool supporters for their tickets, reducing the price by €31 to €88. The club believes parity of pricing is the most logical approach and remains committed to working with UEFA, ECA (European Club Association) and other member clubs with a view to introducing a more structured ticket pricing process for Champions League matches.
I'd like to see the club being the bigger man here and charging Barcelona's fan the same as we charge our own. Then use some of the record turnover to subsidise our away fans.
Are we advertising it as a home match? If we are that's very wrong. But if it's just a preseason match in another English ground then it's nothing we haven't done before.
It's basically a shot at the club for hosting concerts from what I can see. Not much in it to be honest.
I hoped against.hope city would drop points today. Still a few.more chances but we have had one hell.of a season
