The weather decided the hurling league group stages did not finish today :D

Limerick have won 1A, and Clare have as good as qualified after a draw in Ennis today. Cork v Tipp and Wexford v Kilkenny were both postponed, along with Waterford v Galway in 1B.

McManus savage for Monaghan today but that Seanie O Shea is going to be a serious player. Tommy Walsh starting as well. Clifford, O Donoghue and Paul Geaney as well.

Monaghan Need to win last two. Should beat Cavan and if Galway beat Rossies, should stay up as they play Kerry last game

Cracker of a finish in Navan yesterday. Injury time penalty to beat Kildare by a point, who only scored a point themselves in the second half. The weather was awful for a match, but the Meath lads really dug in. Kicked a bucketful of wides as well. Really looking good for promotion now.

Was in Croker last night for Dublin vs Tyrone. Awful stuff.

Football really has gone to the dogs. 15 men behind the ball is awful to watch.

I now know why I don't bring my kids to watch it. Hasn't got a patch on hurling.

Monaghan stay up on four points. Absolutely blessed but will take it.

Need to get key players fit for Championship to have a hope of doing anything

Fair play to mayo, wouldn't have picked them out as finalists after losing to Dublin and Galway. It'll be a good final, Kerry will be out for revenge.

Clifford back in today as well. Tommy Walsh, Clifford, O Shea, O Donnaugh, O Brien, Geaney. Serious firepower. A bit like Dublin though they won’t need to do anything until Super 8s in the championship

Hurling: Waterford coming back from being behind on points when getting a man sent off, to winning by 2 points. Galway didn't score between the 13th to 40th minute second half. Mad.

Limerick v Waterford final next Sunday, in Croker. Camogie at 12, hurling at 2, football at 4.

Savage day out in croker next Sunday! Best lineup you'll get all year.

It will be! Although Thurles would have been much nearer to both Limerick and Waterford in the hurling. ;):p

Wouldn't suit a Dub like myself though and surely that's more important :)

Great result for Meath in Navan yesterday. Buzzing to finally see them going somewhere and improving.

Mad that Cork footballers will be in the same division as Leitrim next year.

Have no idea how Meath let Donegal back into this one.
Looks like Donegals to lose now. Meath just stopped scoring, and they now need a goal.

Great day out Saturday, Fair play to Derry, Leitrim really put it up to them, our finishing could have been better but still a performance to be proud of. Roll on Roscommon in May and Division 3 next year

Neil McGee came on and reorganised the defence for Donegal and it made a huge difference. They cut off the clean ball to Newman. There was that and the also the referee being in awe of Michael Murphy. He knew it as well and played it to it's maximum. I think it's the first time I seen him in the flesh up close, he's one of the best pair of hands on him I've ever seen. Apart from all that Meath ran out of steam and lacked the know hoe Donegal have to win tight games. Still been a cracking league, just hope we push on now

Connolly lined out last night for Vincents. Played centre half back. Didn’t have a whole lot to do. One or two nice passes off both feet.
Rory O’Carroll lining out now in Parnell Park.

Hopefully both might have some role to play in the summer for the Dubs.

Highly doubt it to be honest. Gavin doesn't do bolters like that.

Was there last night. Most teams don't more than 4 forwards like Connolly has plenty of time to pick a pass and he ain't half back at it.
