A bigger boost would to have not lost against Newcastle

Leicester probably deserved a point. On another night Maguire is off and Keita gets a peno.

Could not get Salah or Firmino into it at all.

Definitely sense a nerveyness in the crowd. It’s only January and it feels like it’s April or May from 13/14

Very nervy performance tonight and the crowd were strangely muted as well.

Far too slow and lateral in midfield, we should be approaching these home games as though they are a big CL match. A draw not the worst result but only because City lost last night, Spurs not out of it yet either after tonight.

Wondering is all of the talk of salah diving after weighing in on that one? I thought it was obvious in real time and replay showed it clearly too.

In fairness Leicester were decently. Its a point gained in my book. In previous years we could have lost this.

We have to accept we will have games like this.

Keita should have had a pen but aside from that Leicester had enough chances to get a draw. Very disappointing as seven points is a cushion of two losses. Still, a point gained on city over the mid week games. Hopefully Arsenal can do us a favour Sunday

Very very poor tonight. Didn’t great and chances. Roberson, Salah and Van Dijk weren’t at the races tonight. Sturridge is a waste of space. No fight or effort at all

Fuck it a point is better than none. Those conditions were awful for playing it out from the back. BT sport said they only cleared one half of the pitch at half time, I thought they should've done the other end, leave the slipping to the end Leicester were defending.

Yeah but having lost and looking like they’ll be 7 points behind we didn’t get the job done and looked slow, nervous and out of ideas. Massive for city.

Bobby doesn’t deflect that ball to Alisson and Evans has a tap in.

We need to get a grip. Onto the next game.

I would certainly have taken 5 points clear going into Feb if asked at the start of the season.

Go 23 games without hitting a bad patch and now we're not allowed to have a bad performance without it being down to nerves. Its like when we bottled it in 13/14 by winning 12 and drawing 1 of our last 14 matches. But the body language experts will see what they want to see so either the team win or they're cracking under the pressure, there's no in between from here.

I thought the officials were shit but I wouldn't be too harsh on the ref for not giving Maguire a red card. I think it is a red card but its not certain and you can see why the ref can't be certain, and if he's not then he can't give it.

VAR doesn't give that. Penalty would have been given 100% though.

The weather conditions had a bigger effect than nerves on that performance.

    On we go.

Didn't see any sign of nerves myself.
The pitch disrupted our style of play and Leicester were very good tonight.
Thought Bobby gave the ball away an awful lot.

He had the best view on the pitch for the pen, should have got that one right. And the Hendo foul that turned out it was outside the box

It's a long road mate, we looked nervous at the back, a lot of changes there recently and conditions didn't help. City have lost 4 and drew 2 already this season, I don't think they are feeling great at all to be honest
