Booked the flights back in August mate and there wasn't a huge difference between Ryanair and Aer Lingus at the time. Went with Ryanair because Stansted is easier to get to from work.
Yes same here. Fellas bringing gearbags and all. Most bags are still going overhead mind so no change with that.
Surprising you can put them overhead. I presumed any size that you'd keep half under the chair in front would be fine.
I think they are relaxing it until January. Going to the Napoli game though and two on front of me had issues
Two lads in front of me coming back from Manchester on Monday were charged £10 to bring their gear bags on board. Think it depends on the staff on the day to be honest.
On there website. Fees are reduced. The fee should be 25 but @theoriginals_lfc pointed out it was only 10
Is this open to abuse by the staff...? Like do they just get a tenner or is there a bit of paperwork, I hope they take card as someone is going to get stung with no cash.
I can only see £10 vs £25 depending on the size of the bag (10kg vs 20kg). Send on a link if you have it. I could be blind! Does anyone know what happens if everyone who has paid priority wants to bring on an overhead bag, and makes the overhead space full. Can they take bags off people who have already paid to bring them on? I know this used to happen before, but that was the case if the overhead was full, and only applied to those who hadn't paid.
I have a shit load of flights booked before the new bag rules were announced and I see this morning when I checked in that I have a 10kg bag allowance added to my booking free of charge
I got the same. They tried to charge the new price first, sending an email after the announcement to people who had flights already booked. Then they sent an email a week later contradicting themselves and saying it's actually free now.
Michael O'Leary's horse Tiger Roll, trained by Gordon Elliott, won the Grand National today (Saturday) to retain last year's trophy, and make it the first back to back winner since Red Rum in 1974. O'Leary said the Ryanair flight back to Ireland at 19.30 would be a free bar on board! I wonder if he was on it himself?
In that case, I wonder was him saying this an example of how he doesn't care how they serve people on board, or was it a well planned promotion stunt?
Only one flight into Liverpool early enough for games on a Saturday start of the sesson. Was hoping that 12.15flight would be still going for 3pm and 5.30pm games. 18.10 for any Saturday night kick offs be a goer though. 3 flights home possible from jL for an 2.05 kick off and 2 for the 4.30pm kick offs. Gonna take a few chances this year i reckon on the 20.15 Sunday flight once fixtures come out, might book it home for most high profiles games as most likely they will be Sunday.
