I thought the Keeper bottled it a bit but his reaction convinced the goon behind the nets to give a free. Had it been other end, Id be looking for a free however without the 5th official it would have stood. Had to laugh at the reaction by some about the bottle throwing. People can’t help themselves trying to build up superstars and then look for the smallest things to bring them down. Fancy him for a hatrick against Southampton
Think there's a lot being said about nothing. A bit like Sadio first part of last season. He's doing fine and the goals will come. Media seem determined to make it seem like there is an issue there.
Salah had the surprise factor last season and teams allowed 1 on 1's with defenders but now he is being double teamed. I think this is why Mane is playing so well as he is getting more space as a result.
I don't think it took more than 2 or 3 games for Salah to be singled out for special attention last season, his one on ones were only when opposition made mistakes last year for the most part too. There's no massive drama with him at the moment but he's definitely not at his best form at it looks quite clear that he's frustrated with himself. As Gerry mentioned earlier it could well be to do with what's going on with the Egyptian FA rather than anything at club level so hopefully we'll have him back on top soon. The bottle incident is irrelevant to me, just him releasing pent up frustration at himself.
Mohamed Salah's derby day goal against Everton has won the Fifa Puskas Award. #TheBest #FifaFootballAwards live: http://bbc.in/2xMRn2P
Great to see that but as said above seems like a token for not winning POTY. I don't know if just me but don't even think that's his best goal from last season
I agree his goal against Watford were he sold something like 4 players a dummy & slotted it was my favourite goal of his, last season.
Without taking anything away from him but it's difficult to take an award that it is voted by members of the public too seriously. It is essentially a popularity contest Not sure if it's in the top 3 goals nominated and debatable if it's even his best goal last season.
Salah was getting sh*t on the radio this morning for saying something about looking forward to collecting the POTY award later on when he gave his speech about goal of the season. Doesn't sound very much like him being overly cocky so I'm sure the lad on the radio was just having a pop at him over nothing.
Possibly he was joking or being sarcastic, as he probably knew he wasn't getting POTY. I doubt he was being serious.
Somethings not quite right with him at the moment, but he's still getting into the right positions which is encouraging.
Wondering is his shoulder effecting his play as at this level very small margins can make a huge difference
I'd like to see him be a lot braver. He pulls out of every 50/50. Stick a tackle in and bump into the fullback a few times.
