2 wins on the spin, unbeaten in 3 , clean sheet , rested vital players for two massive games this week, and I'm in Holyhead sculling pints. Up the reds.

Haven't been over for a while, great to see some old heads for first time in a long time and meet some new ones. Thoroughly enjoyed the day

Watched the match in a busy pub with no sound and my very bored 5 year old wanting to leave the whole way through.

From what I saw Robertson did well, few decent crosses, kind of crosses we haven't seen in years (bjornebye-esque) and because of that nobody really anticipated them.

The 3 lads in midfield looked the same, no threat at all. we need a creative player in there.

Solanke substitute was a great one by Klopp, very ballsey. We basically had 4 up front?

Had Benteke not missed that absolute sitter this thread would be far busier place but thankfully he's pants and he missed.

We can't go into many more games with Klavan, he didn't do much wrong from what I saw but.....
Gomez as well for me isn't there yet. I don't think an 18 year old needs resting, he can rest when Clyne is back. Id give Trent a run until then.

Hopefully next PL game we'll have VVD and Coutinho.

Yes I felt Roberson got some decent crosses into the box.On several occasions there was nobody attacking g the front posts where he put at least 3 crosses.I don't thisk he was tested enough defensively to know if he can't defend under pressure. He did what he had to do I suppose.

Thought Robertson was tidy and put in some good crosses

Palace were very poor but Benteke should scored and would be meltdowns all over the place

Sturridge looks lean. Could be a massive player this season

I thought Joe Gomez had a excellent game. Looked composed on the ball, got forward well and done his defensive duties with ease. He has probably been overlooked a little with Robertson's debut and TAA goal during the week. But definitely a talented player who hopefully gets plenty of game time this season.

Robertson was excellent I thought, he got through some amount ball, Gomez done pretty well too, considering he's not really a full back, and I reckon Solanke will be a serious player. I'd just be a bit worried that we looked very slow in the middle at times.

Do the players have to swap over sides when walking out at start?
Also where did Milner and loftus-cheek go after the game?

Not maybe. That is exactly what that room is for.

No evidence of any people down the tunnel to greet the bus, I wonder has that stopped,

Seen a mate's snapchat he was beside the bus as it was arriving into the ground but didn't seem to be that big of a crowd about.
