    I'm trying find to recall a beter performance from Lucas over a 90 minutes.

    Thought he was superb today in a team full of superb performances.

    not even a question of him v stevie, Lucas is second name on team sheet after pepe every time. I think of all players we have, if he gets injured we will miss him more than any other player.

    Chelsea at home last season. Definitely his best performance. Changed an awful lot of peoples minds that day

    Such an improvement in a player over two seasons is unbelievable, gone from the clubs favourite target to vent our frustration at, to one of if not our best (after Stevie) midfielders. Some heart, some talent. So much for "the only brazilian that cant play football" taunts.

    To say I'm proud of Lucas levia tonight would be a understatement. I finally got this numpty in the pub to see his true qualities. Please god i won't have to listen to "Lucas is shit" " get that Lucas levia cnut off the field". I explained to him that if he ever stepped foot in the beautiful ground that is anfield he would recognise the work he does.

    Its a measure of how far Lucas has come in my estimation that there isnt a DM I'd swop him for in the premiership.
    Was an absolute diamond today, tackling, nicking balls, closing off space and his passing has improved hugely over the past year.
    Same again next time please!

    He was excellent today.

    There were probably 5 players for us today who were immense.

    Lucas was one of them. Really strong performance.

    Not only did he do a job on their midfield,but everytime their strikers got it into their feet he was at their toes nicking it. But he's been putting in these type of Performances for a long time now. Gone are the days when this thread only got bumped when he had a bad game:)
