Absolute BS from Oliver Shouldn't be coming out now saying he made a mistake, the whole thing is badly staged, I wonder will cootes come out now and say he is a complete Manc prick that fcuked up liverpool's winner also....
That's one thing that peeves me that we dont bitch & moan for decisions like alot of other teams, not ideal to have to do it but it could make the ref think twice about decisions in games. The west brom goal for example- the guy all over fabinho for their goal, the stonewall peno v Newcastle, the 2 against Southampton, we were far too passive in those decisions offering little to no meaningful protest thus encouraging the ref in his abysmal decision making!
This is the part that pisses me off, dont mind da screw up as tbf we expect it from this groups of refs their incompetent and corrupt to their core but the fact that he says the players not looking for it, shows how shit he truly is and also how clueless he is to the game too. That tackle was such a bad 1 does he really truly believe if the players reacted it they would have done so in a nice way so he then could potentially book our players for their reactions then , players have been told u look for yellow cards or red cards you get booked yet here is apparently one of the PL top refs sayin because they didn't do that he taught amm its a ok, like wtf, that should speak volumes of their mindset. As the thiago injury and sending off is he now saying he sent Richarlson off due to players reaction or because tackle was bad? I dont know why this article was brought out but can't help it coming out so close to the utd game where the debate of utd getting decisions is flowing is no coincidence.
Can't help but miss people like Carragher and Bellamy in the referees face about decisions. As clearly seen by the article it does make a difference.
Really missing the big man as an attacking option on set plays more than anything else. Were just not a treat on corners without him. Without the set play goals teams can just camp in against us.
Yeah huge loss at both ends of the pitch. The security he had Gomez give you with their pace is incredible. Can't wait to have them back.
How many corners these days are taken short and cross does not even come into the box? Must be due to lack of height. Matip also missing as a big threat from corners. Fabinho, Mane and Henderson only 3 you’d fancy to win a header at a corner.
Whatever about missing him defensively, he is probably worth 5-6 goals at the other end. Assuming he is fully fit will be like two new players next season
