Aer Lingus are offering refund in the form of vouchers worth the flight plus 10% if flying before 31st May.
Ryanair have turned off their refund functionality. You just get an error when you try to process it. It was deliberate as I know someone who works on their website team.
The brother who works as a pilot for Ryanair has just sent me on a email he received from them saying there will be no flight in April or May but this could change depending on the Govnerment .
Just heard this on the news. All Ryanair flights for April and May cancelled but offered to European governments for use if needed for emergency purposes.
That's handy. Wonder are they going to stick to this policy now the government has said no more flights? I have 6 more flights booked with them included a family 1000 quid job to Spain ,that's gone belly up for sure. At least Aer Lingus are refunding via vouchers with 10% extra.
There was a guy on the radio yesterday and I'm fairly sure he said that if flights are cancelled more than 14 days before the flight you are not liable to get compensated but you obviously have to get your money back.
Had a flight booked for palace last Saturday was only 30 quid but tried to use their option of change flight and only pay the difference in fare on same route noticed how all flights were same price no matter the day or time for coming months and would require giving them more just left it be but was going to just pick a random saturday in June and hope it worked out if the football is back, funny then you open the app and look at flights same date and time and they are there for a range of prices. Lucky enough flight home was aer lingus and got the voucher. Hopefully it becomes abit clearer for april..
I got texts and emails today offering refunds on flights in April. Actually only 2 out of 3 came through so not sure why. Maybe a skeleton flight is still operating?
Refund page seems to be working now got 2 sorted last night. Later April one's not showing as cancelled yet.
Due to fly to London on June 7th for a day trip. Would you reckon that’s going to happen or most likely have to change? Thanks
Hard to know. Ireland could have it under control by then and be happy to let you in and out, but I don't think the UK will. Regarding the flight, if the flight doesn't go ahead you'd be entitled to a full refund so you probably don't need to change/cancel it yet.
My villa flights and Burnley flights were cancelled now so qualify for a refund. Keep and eye on the app.
Has anyone received the refund yet from Ryanair? I've heard they won't be actually paying the refund until this covid 19 stuff is all over but not sure how true that is?
I’m still waiting on mine for the Slovakia game last month. But they do keep me up to date with emails, decent of them I say they have a rack load to get through.
Nothing back yet just update emails about the amount they have etc, just kept the receipt from the refund application incase anything needs to be followed up never expect an easy process with Ryanair when it comes to money
Did anyone get email from Aer lingus offering 2 free tickets vouchers for €10 for any were in the world and can book them by next year, only offer for 48hrs .
