I wish the weather would switch back to this time last year.

That's fine as long as I'm not sweating like a cooked chicken in hospital for the entire summer! :D 40C in an enclosed area... :eek:o_O

was talking to 2 lads in work this morning, one from poland and one from romania. the polish lad said it was in the late 30's back home and the romanian lad said it was 40 degrees back home, he said it was like africa. they weren't impressed with the shi'ite we're having anyway

Was happily (term used loosely) painting the fencing outside in a nice balmy 22 degrees, neighbor doing likewise.....up to about 20 minutes ago and then the heavens opened. Like a scene from a monsoon out there!

Having said that, warm stuff on the way. Every few years theres this moth that appears (usually see it in the parents garden out the country) called The humming bird Hawk moth. First time we spotted one, we made the common mistake of "fuck me - theres a humming bird in the flowers" and rang The wildlife folks to excitedly report it. Was told what it actually was and that they get blown from the continent and north Africa in particularly warm years and usually hearlds winds from the sahara blowing north to scorch us.

*of course when I look for a video, it says they may now be resident in the UK - so dont unpack the speedos just yet.

Out for a long run this morning. Never seen rain like it about 11am. Felt sorry for people standing at bus stopes etc.

Yeah zero sun but definitely warmer. Was a painful cycle home yesterday with too much on. Sweat central.

I'd take the cold ahead of muggy heat and no sun. Its the worse type.

Hearing were in for a cracking few days ahead in the pale.

Not long now, Thursday is lining up nicely to be clear blue skies in Dublin and hitting 20+ degrees.

The lads will all have to head to the coast unless they want to suffer high 20's or join us in the big shmoke for the day.

Bring cans if you're coming, whatever the cheapest cider you can find is, try find a spot near a canal or any other water will do, wear a sleeveless top or better still go topless to show off your pasty white skin. Fishing rods are not necessary but certainly bonus points for having one
