Torres was world class in his time with us in my opinion! His goal against Newcastle when he linked up with Gerrard is one of my personal favourites He is the one player I regret not seeing live on my trips over through the years

Personal favorite was the one against Blackburn, half volley from a silly angle in the box. Van Basten-esque. Thing that always struck me about Torres was his accuracy. The number of his goals that were scored into the very corner of the goal, or into the side netting was amazing. Still sticks in my craw somewhat that we never got to see him and Suarez (granted we didnt realise at the time just HOW good Suarez was going to be) as a front two. Again I suppose Torres was waning when we got 50m for him, but I always wondered if he HAD stuck around, would playing with Suarez have reignited him.
