I am far from an expert on this. It has got much harder to predict games with extra television slots. Newcastle home or away is probably the only matches this season that can be predicted with any certainty. I am not sure that the FIFA club tournament is a certainty. I would have thought if it was taking place it would have been ratified at the recent FIFA congress meeting but of course I could be wrong. The future changes for an expanded tournament seem a non-runner.
And the problem now is that Newcastle could be the Saturday night game so can't even book a flight home sat night risk free. As you said getting harder and harder to predict. Take the odd gamble on Sunday late night flights home from manc and Liverpool and hope Birmingham red eye is still cheap once fixtures are confirmed will be my option alot this year. The gamble of risking booking before confirmation of tv games is getting less worth it.

International break before the game and the possibility of Liverpool having to play a Champions League game on the Tuesday night in the midweek following. Of course the Champions League match might be the Wednesday night either but the match date will be confirmed long before the Champions League draw on August 29th.

Correct, CL week should avoid Fri, but could see it as a Sat 7:45 game with the international break and Arsenal and Chelsea both having to play Sun already....though could throw it Sunday too. Nobody has a clue basically.

I took a chance on Arsenal it was on Saturday and booked a late flight from Liverpool to Dublin €25. Nothing booked over yet! One of us has to be right
Supposedly these are correct Southampton stays 3pm Sat, Burnley away 5.30 Saturday, Arsenal home 5.30 Saturday & Sheff Utd away 12.00 Saturday.
Impossible to hold that flight home all nite countless cards being unaccepted is there a mole in the camp !!!
