Anyone for a taxi share back to Holyhead for one of the night sailings at 2:30am or whenever they are? Time for a pint or 3 after and head about 11:15/30 would be my plan... No idea on cost as never done it but I've seen it mentioned here. Maybe one of our taxi company members would be interested if we got good numbers
I have a plan 'b' already sorted, but my preferred option would be a taxi to Holyhead so count me in if we can get the numbers.
Yes, have a backstop plan. National Express direct or the later Mega Bus to Brum via Manchester and then the train from New Street to Birmingham International. The 1st flight to Dublin at 8:00 was £14.99 when I booked it today. Only the second time of the six CL matches I have been able to use the Knock-Liverpool route to get over. Return not possible to Knock the next day. Would prefer if possible to use the ferry route especially with the new 06:55 train out of Connolly to Sligo.
Stena have a €3 single sailing offer until 11pm tomorrow night. Just booked the boat for 2:30am on 10th April after the game for €3
Booked a couple of slots Steve Fair play. If I can get hold of tickets I will be defo be up for taxi share back. I will give you a shout next week.
Sound. think we have you, me and 90% @redabbey and @Pfoley ticket dependent x2 Should get 4 of us anyway, even 3 in a 4 seater is decent value with the boat only being €3!
Sound Stevie, will try let you know towards end of this week. Think it was £140 for an 8 seater last year I am not sure of who organised it or who done it for that price it May have been Lional or Dave.
Still good value to be had traveling over on the day Dublin to Birmingham 10.45 for €18 13.01 train to Lime Street €12
Is it handy to get from Brum airport to new street? It's an extra 40 quid if you get the train at the airport and change at new st? cheers
