Liverpool 97 City 95 Spurs 89 United 80 Arsenal 78 Chelsea 77 But the top 3 teams will drop more points than that. In total between them anyway.
The muppet from the rag on Sunday Supplement says City will win it by 6 points The one who looks like briefcase wanker from The Inbetweeners was talking about us like we're Watford plus Mo Salah. I might be paranoid but it seems like the majority in the media don't really want us to win it.
Oh hang on,briefcase wanker is praising Tottenham for the same thing he was criticising us for 5 minutes ago.
I made sure I was fair as possible and took my red tinted glasses off. The results were Liverpool 101 Man City 90 Spurs. 81 Chelsea/Utd 74 Funnily enough it was the amount of draws coming Spurs way that made them drop off so much.
When are they likely to play Utd? Hopefully it's sandwiched between a champions league game against Barca or Juve. Only way I can see us winning it is if out champions league run ends fairly soon. I can't see how we can cope i Winning every week with 2 games against Bayern plus 2 or 4 against teams better again.
Relax , City will go and lose one or two more against unexpected opposition just like last week and Christmas time. When they are good they are amazing but very likely to get beaten out of nowhere. We will be consistent despite champions league football, not worried at all. Very exciting but not worrying. Beat the scum and we will win all the remaining games.
I'm looking at our fixtures and imagining Juve and Barcelona mixed in around them and suddenly what should be handy become tricky. I love the champions league as much as the next man but the league has got to come first.
Massive few weeks coming up, Munich tie and united in between. A lot at stake in the next few games. Beat united and we’re back in the driving seat
Read today Tuesday 2nd April or Wednesday 3rd most likely dates for it. Definitely better than putting it back until May when Utd could be out of top 4 race altogether or even worse they could have it wrapped up and all.
There is no way they will be out of the top four race by then and it looks unlikely they'll have it wrapped up. Doesn't matter either way, against us and City they'll fight tooth and nail no matter what, Ole wants that job and beating their two biggest rivals is always going to be important, we don't have to beat them but we need to match City's result against them. It's such a pivotal fixture for both teams on the way home, same as I thought Chelsea was but they've just swatted them aside playing them at the perfect time, things like that can really make a difference when things are this tight.
Obviously it depends on us turning up on the day but I think this current ManU team are made for us, and City for that matter. They give up a lot of chances and have rode their luck in quite a few games since he took over while also taking advantage of having more clinical attackers than other teams, but if we play well they won't get anywhere near the amount of chances they'll need against us to make those percentages work for them. I really don't expect it to be the toughest game either us or City have left and I won't be in the growing camp that would settle for a draw.
