Exactly. If teams want to set up like that against us for the rest of the season, fine by me. 0 shots on target against us,3 or 4 excellent chances to score and a fully deserved win against a very well organised team. We're not going to be scintillating for 90 minutes every week but as long as we're controlling games people shouldn't be panicking like they were at half time.

What was Keita at when he came on? Nearly cost us looking for a ref’s whistle and then not going into the corner at the end. Stupitdity like that eventually catches up with you at some stage

Looked like Klopp had a few words with Salah at HT to drop deeper into the midfield (a la Messi) which made a difference, he was lost in the first half.

Thought Fabinho did well at Centre half, although there were one or two moments where he didn’t keep a line, which is to be expected from a midfielder not used to playing CH.

Thought Hendo and Gini controlled the midfield between them.

Absolute stupidity from him twice. Think he'll be a serious player for us next year. Hopefully he'll show some of his West ham home, palace and Burnley away form during the run in

I'm starting to wonder about him to be honest, could still turn things around from here but it's more a hope than an expectation now. I'd love to see him work out but I think he night be a little too careless with possession for what we're trying to do.

I'd forgive him today quite easily, brought on with probably the hope of impressing himself on the game in a very short spell when all he needed to do was not lose the ball.

Early days, Klopp has been so shrewd with signings it would be odd if there isn't a lot more improvement there. I was worried about Fabinho for a while until, for the same reason, i told myself to cop on.

Keita looks like a player devoid of any confidence, doesn't seem capable of stamping his authority on games but then maybe he isn't that type of player. Has has also carelessly given the ball away a lot. I think there was an initial expectation that he was going to be a great signing but thus far it hasn't materialised but I'm not giving up hope just yet. If we manage to continue to stay top of the league it will go under the radar a bit more and he will be given a bit more patience from the fans.

Fabinho on the other hand is turning into a player that always wants the ball and is not afraid to take on responsibility. He also has an imposing presence in midfield and isn't afraid to do the hard yards. He done a decent job as a centre half today but I think we need him further forward in midfield. Whilst he made a few loose passes in some matches it doesn't seem to affect him at all, I think he could become a regular starter for us on the run in.

Personally will be glad to see Fabinho ack in the midfield even though very good at CB , just feel the link to the front three is much better and quicker

Probably orders but our passing was to conservative and safe from midfield but orders changed at HT but sense we reverted back when we scored and again and left faith in the front 3/4 to do the business again .

Admiration isn’t enough to say how good Van is , just a born leader with such desire to win
It’s as though forward know there wasting their time trying to tackle him to win the ball back
    £75m was a steal .

In general I felt the criticism of our passing in the first half got a bit silly. We were up against a well drilled, packed defence sitting deep,of course the tempo is going to be slower when you're up against that. We didn't want our midfielders going backwards or sideways,we didn't want them playing long balls but we didn't want them giving away the ball either...something has to give somewhere.
