Just watched The Good Book. Best movie I’ve seen in a long time.

Watched The Vice on Saturday night. Good film.

Christian Bale put on some weight for the role.

I believe Jamie's parents were never approached about this film and have not given any concent for its viewing. Food for thought I would say but absolutely each to their own

Watched Michael Inside today on Netflix. Dublin based movie about a young lad that gets involved with drugs. Normally I wouldn’t be interested in these sort of movies but heard it got great reviews so gave it a watch. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely, although I would have said that was a strong lineup of movies that were nominated that year. Take into account that she left out Driving Miss Daisy which was the 5th nominated movie that year for best picture (and won it), that only 5 movies could be nominated, that FOD and BOTFOJ had particular cultural and historical appeal for american audiences, no one would have argued if DPS had won that year and that MLF has one of the greatest acting performances of all time (I know that should be kept separate in the actor gongs but it clearly isn't on regular occasions) and her example, despite WHMS being excellent, maybe isn't the best one.
