Just finished the first season of QB1 beyond the lights on Nexflix, was a really interesting watch i thought
It's the most football time of the year..... By way, anyone in Louth (or close) area ever interested in playing the game give me a shout!
Are you with the Mavericks by any chance? I saw something the other day about a coach they've signed up which sounds like a seriously experienced guy!
Ha yeah I would know that coach pretty well......had me out at the rookie camp they had over the weekend. Not really involved as live in Dublin but if up will go along and help out if I can. https://www.americanfootball.ie/ and find your nearest - plenty in Dublin!
Paddy powers had as touchdown special in store today that there'll be a TD in each game at 7/4 and it came in in the 1st quarter
I'm raging about the Pats to be honest, I really don't like them but they seem to have really gotten their season going again, I do think there are teams that are better than them in the league but wouldn't shock me to see them go deep again. Must catch highlights of the game later on as it looks like a belter.
Dez Bryant signed for the Saints, interesting move, they don't have huge depth at WR but Bryant brings a huge ego which could disrupt things. They were very good against the Rams at the weekend, Brees excellent!
Anyone know when the fixtures for the London games get announced , is it before or after the season ends?
Believe this year they are making less "fuss" and might do it with regular schedule in April. Already announced there will be 4 of course.
https://canoe.com/sports/football/c...r-video-shows-him-knocking-over-kicking-woman Huge story coming out of Kansas where the Chiefs have released Kareem Hunt. This is absolutely huge by the Chiefs in context of the season, the importance of the player to their playoffs and their status as a top contender for the superbowl this season but it is 100% the right decision and I'm delighted they've taken it in light of the significant weakening of their team because of it. I'm just surprised an NFL team actually took this stance to be honest!
They knew about it months ago as there was a police report. Their CEO talked about it a while back. They only took the stance because TMZ got their hands on the video. Their star receiver Tyreek Hill also has a history when it comes to domestic abuse accusations however because their is no video, he is still on the team. In this instance it looks like Hunt was heavily provoked and initially was self defence and he threw his leg out. The headlines make it sound a lot of worse than it was but the team or leagues can’t afford the bad publicity. Another team will pick him up pretty soon. Foster was cut from 49ers recently and Red Skins picked up. The accusations against him are a lot more serious
I understand that he had completely denied anything in relation to this and as there was no charges filed they could only go with his version of events, this video is the only time they've had proof this actually happened. You're right that he'll be picked up again Gary but I do think the Chiefs have made a moraled stance on this as you'll know this guy is box office and crucial to their superbowl ambitions, would have been easy to make the wrong decision on this. In relation to Hill you're right that they went a different way on it but making the wrong decision in the past is not a reason to continue to make bad decisions. Hills was in college if I'm right and he's been in trwatreat for anger management ever since but I think it's a good sign that things are going in the right direction.
